1. (b) How may we counteract “the ignorant talk of the unreasonable men” who create prejudice against Jehovah’s Witnesses?

(ख) वे लोग जो यहोवा के गवाहों के विरुद्ध पूर्वधारणा उत्पन्न करते हैं ऐसे “निर्बुद्धि लोगों की अज्ञानता की बातों” का हम किस तरह प्रतिकार कर सकते हैं?

2. Such ideas, he said, were “weak fancied trifles” manufactured by “devil-raisers and devil-makers” who “cheated the ignorant world with a devil of their own making.”

उन्होंने कहा कि ये सारे विचार “इब्लीस के अस्तित्त्व की ईजाद करनेवालों और इस विश्वास को फैलानेवालों” द्वारा गढ़ी गयी “मूर्खों की, बे-सिर-पैर की काल्पनिक कहानियाँ” हैं, जिन्होंने “सच्चाई से बेखबर लोगों को अपने ही बनाए हुए इब्लीस से धोखे में रखा है।”

3. They were well-versed in the large body of rabbinic traditions, and they looked down on the common people, who were less educated, viewing them as ignorant, contemptible, even accursed.

एक तरफ तो वे आधारभूत वैज्ञानिक जानकारियों से पूरी तरह अनजान थे तो दूसरी तरफ हर तरह के धार्मिक पाखंड पर आंख मूंद कर विश्वास करते हुए विज्ञान के वास्तविक चमत्कारों को संदेह की दृष्टि से देखते थे .

5. Thus, unlike Christian proselytism that preys on the poor and the ignorant around the world, Hindu spirituality and Hindu gurus have attracted the well-educated, the urban, the spiritually inclined and the affluent in the west.

अतः ईसाई धर्मांतरणता के विपरीत, जो सम्पूर्ण विश्व में गरीबों और मासूमों को अपना शिकार बनाते हैं, हिन्दू आध्यात्म और हिन्दू गुरुजनों ने, सुशिक्षित, शहरी, आध्यात्म में प्रवृत्त लोगों और पश्चिम के समृद्धों को आकर्षित करते हैं।
